Our organization offers a variegated range of Vanillin, which is a phenolic aldehyde or an organic compound having molecular formula C8H8O3. Other compounds of this group comprises aldehyde, ether and phenol. These products are extracted mainly from vanilla beans but also found in small proportions in roasted coffee and Chinese red pine. Vanillin and ethylvanillin is widely used in food industry. Instead of natural vanilla extracts, synthetic vanillin is at times used as a flavoring agent in foods, beverages and pharmaceuticals.
Other specifications:
Ethyl is much costlier with a stronger note
The major difference from vanillin is an ethoxy group (-O-CH2CH3) instead of a methoxy group (-O-CH3)
Natural "vanilla extract" is a combination of many hundred different compounds along with vanillin
Artificial vanilla flavoring is an option of pure vanillin that has a synthetic origin due to the limitation and cost of natural vanilla extract
First commercial synthesis of vanillin started with a much commonly available natural compound eugenol
Now, artificial vanillin is prepared either from guaiacol or lignin, a wood constituent that is a by product of pulp industry
Lignin-based artificial vanilla flavoring have a strong flavor than oil-based flavoring; due to the presence of acetovanillone in the lignin-derived product (an impurity not found in vanillin synthesized from guaiacol)
